Featuring Lisa Parker – Target 5 Consumer Reporter

Lisa Parker will be the evening's Master of Ceremonies. She joined NBC5 in 1996 and initiated the Target 5 consumer-investigative unit. Her reports have since garnered seven Midwest Emmys, an Edward R. Murrow Regional RTNDA award, and several state and local broadcast awards.
Lisa Parker

Lisa and her producer Robin Green tackle many of the same topics that are the focus of AgeOptions programs, including Medicare Fraud and the Grandparents Scam. Her "Target: Grandma" story last August featured our SMP program and aired again in December as one of NBC5's "Best of 2009" stories.

Lisa also covers such topics as children's product safety, potential defects in automobiles and toxins in mainstream consumer products. Her reports bring real benefit to viewers and have been the catalyst for change and new legislation on a wide variety of issues.

We are so happy to have Lisa Parker join AgeOptions at our 2010 Celebrating Aging – Making a Difference event!
